Irene'S Kielbasa Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sliced kielbasa
    1/2 head cabbage, shredded
    1 onion, chopped
    3 carrots, sliced
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3 c. water
    1/2 c. barley or egg noodles
    1 (19 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    3 chicken bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large Dutch oven or soup kettle. Bring to a boil and simmer until vegetables are tender.
    Stir often.
    Serve piping hot.
