Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. red beans, soaked overnight
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
    7 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
    1/2 c. catsup
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. Tabasco
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. thyme
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. sausage, cut in 1-inch pieces
    1 ham bone
Preparation
    Drain the beans; put them in a 6-quart heavy pot with ham bone.
    Add 3 quarts fresh water.
    Cover; simmer for 1 hour.
    The beans must be covered with water at all times.
    Add water if needed.
    Add the rest of ingredients.
    Add more water, to cover, if needed.
    Simmer, partially covered, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until liquid has thickened.
    Serve over cooked rice.
