Sour Cream Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. soft margarine or butter (2 sticks)
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream margarine and 1 cup sugar well.
Beat in vanilla.
Beat in eggs.
Sift together flour, baking soda, powder and salt.
Beat dry ingredients into sugar mixture alternately with sour cream. Beat well.
Grease and flour a 9-inch tube pan.
Combine brown sugar with remaining granulated sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
Sprinkle a little of this in the bottom of pan.
Make 3 layers each of batter and nut mixture.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until cake tests done.
Remove from oven.
Let set 5 minutes, then turn out on cake rack.
Cool.
