Chocolate Chip Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. applesauce
3/4 c. nuts (optional)
3/4 c. chocolate chips

Preparation

Mix all of the ingredients together.
Bake for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0 in greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans.
Makes 2 loaves.
