Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or 3 lb. frying chicken, cut in serving pieces
    frying oil
    flour, salt and pepper (for dredging)
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    3/4 c. warm water
    1 can tomato paste
Preparation
    Salt and pepper chicken to taste.
    Dredge in flour.
    Brown chicken. Dissolve soup mix in warm water. Combine with tomato paste and pour over chicken.
    Cover and simmer until chicken is tender and sauce is desired thickness, about 30 minutes. Turn often to keep from sticking.
