Gooey Butter Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (17 oz.) pound cake mix
    1 stick butter, softened
    4 eggs, divided
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. powdered sugar (reserve 1/2 c.)
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine cake mix, butter and 2 eggs.
    Beat 1 minute and spread in greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
