Lefsa (Norwegian) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 c. flour
    1 c. lard
    4 c. boiling water
    a little salt
    a little sugar
    a little baking powder
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt, sugar and baking soda.
    Mix in lard like pie crust.
    Gradually add water to dough.
    Roll with a lefsa rolling pin to desired size.
    Cook on hot griddle.
    Turn and cook the other side.
    (Aunt Anna always put a milk and sugar mixture on one side while cooking.)
    Cool.
    Stack and cover firmly to hold flat shape.
    These will keep for a long time in a cool, dry place.
