Chow-Mein Beef Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. bias sliced celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 medium tomato, peeled and diced
    1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles
Preparation
    In a large skillet, combine beef, celery and onion.
    Cook until meat is lightly browned; drain off excess fat.
    Add tomato, mushrooms, soup, 1/2 cup of water and half the chow mein noodles; stir until blended.
    Turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Top with remaining noodles.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Pass soy sauce, if desired.
    Makes 4 to 5 servings.
