Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 onion, chopped
    2 celery sticks, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, chopped
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 c. raw rice
    1/2 c. shredded carrot or chopped spinach
Preparation
    Saute butter, onion, celery and garlic.
    Add chicken broth and rice.
    Bring mixture to boil.
    Stir once with a fork.
    Add shredded carrot or chopped spinach.
    Cover, turn to low heat and cook until all liquid is absorbed.
