Delicious Haddock - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. haddock fillets
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/2 lb. American cheese, sliced and diced
    4 Tbsp. dry sherry
Preparation
    Cook fish in small
    amount
    of water until fork-tender. Drain any remaining liquid.
    For
    casserole,
    flake
    fish into large chunks or leave whole if you prefer.
    Saute mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter.
    In
    another
    pan,
    melt
    2
    tablespoons butter;
    then stir in flour.
    When smooth, add milk gradually, stirring until thick.
    Continue
    stirring and add cheese until melted and well blended.
    Season
    with
    salt
    and
    pepper; add sherry and mushrooms.
