Ingredients

4 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
1 egg
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cocoa
Preparation

Cream the shortening and sugar together.
Add milk and beaten egg; mix well.
Sift the flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt together and add raisins about halfway in batter when mixing together.
Roll out 1/4 inch thick on floured board. Cut with cookie cutter any size.
Bake in hot oven 12 minutes.
When cool, ice with Cocoa Icing.
