Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. corn meal
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 onion, grated
3/4 c. milk
1 egg

Preparation

Stir together first 5 ingredients.
Add onion, milk and egg. Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot oil (360\u00b0).
Fry until golden brown.
