Pickled Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large cucumbers
    1 large green pepper
    1 sweet onion
    4 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. ground celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Put vinegar, sugar and spices together and cook until it boils.
    Cut up cucumbers, green pepper and onion.
    Place vegetables in large jar and pour liquid over.
    Store in refrigerator.
    You can also use cauliflower and broccoli.
