Hot Burgundy And Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. apple cider
    2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    4 cinnamon sticks
    3 to 4 whole cloves
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 (750 ml) bottle Burgundy wine
Preparation
    Heat the cider, lemon juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves and sugar in a large pot.
    Stir until the sugar dissolves.
    Heat to a boil; remove from the heat.
    Add the wine and place the mixture in a crock-pot to keep it warm during the serving period.
    Yields 1 1/4 gallons.
