Toad In The Hole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    standard batter
    1 lb. link sausage
    shortening
Preparation
    Heat a little sausage in a baking pan and when smoking hot, pour in the batter.
    Put
    the sausages in the batter and bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 3/4 to 1 hour.
    Serve at once.
