Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Sift flour and soda into mixing bowl.
    Blend in shortening, adding buttermilk gradually until smooth.
    Toss on floured surface.
    Roll out into 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut and place on greased shallow pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0.
