Pork Chops With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw rice
    1/2 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 1/4 c. boiling water
    4 to 6 pork chops
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown chops slightly in small amount of shortening.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Combine rice, onion soup mix, soup and water.
    Pour into a casserole dish.
    Place meat on top.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 4 to 6.
