Nut Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    2 egg whites, beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop nuts very fine.
    Peanuts or pecans are especially good. Beat the egg whites until stiff but not dry.
    Beat in sugar, a little at a time.
    Fold in the vanilla, salt and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoons on ungreased letter paper or waxed paper.
    Bake in a slow oven (275\u00b0) for forty to sixty minutes.
    Makes about 2 dozen.
