6 or 7 tart apples
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
dash of salt
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Slice apples. Combine next 5 ingredients.
Mix.
Fill pie shell with apples and sugar mixture.
Adjust top crust.
Flute edges.
Bake 50 minutes at 400\u00b0.
