Ingredients

1 c. soft butter
2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. finely chopped walnuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Measure flour by dipping-level-pour method or by sifting.
Combine all ingredients and blend well. Roll on floured cloth-covered board to 1/4-inch.
Cut with 1 1/2-inch cookie cutter.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until set, but not brown.
Cool and frost cookies with any topping you like.
