Beer Simmered Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
6 center cut pork chops
1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, sliced and drained
3/4 c. beer
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice
Preparation

Melt butter in a large skillet.
Brown pork chops on both sides.
In a separate bowl mix soup, mushrooms, beer and onion soup mix.
Blend well.
Add to skillet and lower heat. Allow chops and sauce to simmer, covered, over low heat for about 50 minutes. Cook rice as directed on package.
Serve pork chops and sauce over rice. Serves 4 to 6.
