Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 lb. butter or oleo
4 eggs
2 c. milk
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
about 8 c. flour
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Alternate cups of milk.
Store in refrigerator overnight.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for approximately 6 to 8 minutes.
Ice with powdered sugar icing.
Makes 12 dozen.
