Bavarian Apple Tart - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Stir in vanilla with flour and mix well.
    Spread in a 9-inch spring-form pan.
    Cover bottom and 2-inches up sides.
