Fried Peach Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. pkg. dried peaches
sugar to taste
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. shortening
2/3 c. milk
veggie oil for deep frying
Preparation

Soak fruit in water and cover for several hours or overnight. Cook in this water until tender; stir.
Remove from heat.
Mash until smooth.
Add sugar.
Set aside to cool.
