Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. moist coconut
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg, well beaten
Preparation
    Mix and spread over bottom layer. Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0. Let cool and cut into squares.
