Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
2 sticks creamy butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. each: vanilla and lemon flavoring
Preparation

Cream shortening and butter.
Add sugar and cream well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Alternate, adding flour, etc. and milk.
Add extracts.
Put in large tube pan, well oiled or lined.
Start in cold oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
