Green Beans And Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. green beans, trimmed and halved
6 slices bacon
1 tsp. salt
6 to 8 potatoes, peeled and halved
Preparation

Place the green beans, bacon and salt in a large pot and add water to just cover the beans.
Bring to boil.
Lower the heat and cook, uncovered, at a slow boil for 20 minutes.
Add potatoes and enough water to cover all vegetables.
Continue cooking until the potatoes and beans are very tender, at least 20 minutes longer. Drain any water that remains and serve immediately.
