Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 can beef consomme
    3 Tbsp. onion, chopped fine
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Soften bread crumbs in milk.
    Cook onion in half of the butter for 5 minutes.
    Add to bread crumbs.
    Add beef, spices and egg. Mix well and form into 1-inch meatballs.
    Saute in remaining butter in a skillet for about 10 minutes.
    Blend flour and water to thicken consomme.
    Add consomme and bake slowly for about 1 hour in 325\u00b0 oven.
