Ma'S Sweet Dills - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large or 6 to 8 small dill pickles
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks cinnamon, broken
    1/2 tsp. whole cloves
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Cut pickles in small slices or sticks.
    Put in large bowl. Boil next four ingredients for 5 minutes and pour over pickles. Leave uncovered overnight.
