Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stewing chicken, stewed until meat falls from bones; remove bones
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    water (enough to make stiff dough)
Preparation
    Have chicken broth boiling.
    Roll out dough, a little at a time as thin as possible.
    Cut into strips and drop into boiling broth.
    Repeat until all dough is used.
    Cook until dumplings are done.
    Add black pepper to taste.
