Refrigerated Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 heaping Tbsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
1 tsp. mustard seed
4 Tbsp. chopped bell pepper
3/4 c. white vinegar
1 carrot, grated
1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
-
Mix first 4 ingredients; let stand 1 hour.
Combine all ingredients in a large jar; refrigerate.
Take out as you need.
