Chili Con Carne Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1 clove garlic, diced
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 can tomatoes (2 c.)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. onion salt (optional)
    1/2 tsp. celery salt (optional)
    1 tsp. chopped green chili
    3 c. cooked kidney or pinto beans
    chili powder to taste
    1/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    cornbread topping
Preparation
    Grease a shallow 2-quart casserole or baking dish.
    In the baking dish, combine all the ingredients except the cheese and topping.
    Place in oven at 450\u00b0 for about 10 minutes while preparing the topping.
    Cover top of hot casserole with cornbread mixture and return to oven for approximately 25 minutes or until done.
