Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    7 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    5 eggs, separated
    2/3 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cook the water, sugar, cornstarch and butter in a double boiler until thick. Beat the egg yolks until creamy and add a small amount of hot mixture to the egg yolks and then add all of the hot mixture to prevent curdling. Cook this a few minutes and then add the lemon juice. Pour into a baked pie crust.
