(The Barn) Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small chopped onion
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    5 c. water
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    8 oz. very fine noodles
    1 head broccoli, chopped small or frozen
    4 c. milk
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter 3 minutes. Add water and bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil and cook until noodles are done. Add cooked broccoli. Reduce heat. Add milk and cheese chunks.
    Stir until melted and season with pepper.
    Yields 3 quarts.
