Mapley Chocolate Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. maple flavoring
    1/4 c. cocoa
    confectioners sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Beat eggs in small mixing bowl; gradually add sugar and vanilla.
    Blend in melted butter; beat well.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture.
    Add cocoa to batter.
    Bake in 8-inch square pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes. Makes 16 squares.
