Holiday Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 (28 oz.) can mincemeat (rum and brandy flavor)
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. mixed fruit and peel
    1 1/3 c. Eagle Brand condensed milk (15 oz.)
Preparation
    Butter pan and line with waxed paper and butter again.
    Sift flour and soda.
    Combine eggs, mincemeat, condensed milk, fruit and nuts.
    Fold in dry ingredients.
    Pour into loaf pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
