Mississippi Caviar - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (15 oz.) cans black-eyed peas, drained and rinsed
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 to 3/4 c. jalapeno peppers, chopped (El Paso)
    1/4 c. chopped pimento
    3 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Zesty Italian dressing mix
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and chill.
    Serve with tortilla chips.
