Microwave Peanut Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. white corn syrup
dash of salt
1 Tbsp. ???
1 tsp. vanilla
4 to 5 drops red food coloring
2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
4 to 5 drops red food coloring

Preparation

Combine first 7 ingredients in a 2-quart glass bowl and microwave for 4 minutes.
Add peanuts.
Microwave 12 minutes. Remove and add remainder of ingredients.
Cool and stir until creamy.
Drop by tablespoons on a sheet of wax paper.
