Ingredients

3 eggs, divided
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. milk
4 bananas, sliced
1 box vanilla wafers
Preparation

Whip
egg yolks, sugar, flour, evaporated milk and milk together.
Cook
over
medium
heat, stirring constantly until thickened, about
15
minutes.
Add
vanilla.
In
a
10 x 6 x 1 3/4-inch
baking
dish, layer wafers, sliced bananas and egg mixture into
two
equal
layers.
Beat egg whites with 3 teaspoons sugar
and
1/2
teaspoon
cream of tartar until stiff. Spread on
top of pudding and bake in 350\u00b0 oven until meringue is lightly browned.
