Golden Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. golden raisins
1 c. water
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter (room temperature)
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs (room temperature)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. orange extract
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. sugar, mixed with 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

In a saucepan, combine raisins and water.
Cook over medium heat until water is absorbed.
Cool.
Sift flour, baking soda and salt together.
Set aside.
Cream butter; add sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla and orange extracts.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Stir in walnuts and raisins.
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a pie plate.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into cinnamon-sugar and coat well. Place sugar coated balls on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Makes 6 dozen cookies.
