Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. Crisco shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
3 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and buttermilk until smooth and fluffy.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, and beat after each.
Stir in mashed bananas and nuts.
Add flour a little at a time and beat well after each time.
Pour into loaf pan that has been well-greased and floured.
Let stand 10 minutes and cover with foil.
Bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake until toothpick comes out clean, about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
