Fruit Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 lb. margarine
    1 c. peaches, pineapple or chopped apples
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients; add margarine and milk.
    Pour into 1-quart baking dish.
    Add fruit.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serve warm with milk or cream.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
