2 c. self-rising corn meal
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 eggs
3 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix well and bake in deep sheet pan at 350\u00b0 until it passes the toothpick test.
Serve with butter or go on to make cornbread dressing.
You can make the cornbread up days in advance of making your dressing in order to save time.
