Red Velvet Cake(Heritage Recipe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. red food coloring (4 1/2 oz.)
2 1/2 Tbsp. instant cocoa
1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix food coloring and cocoa and set aside.
Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs together and beat until fluffy.
