Spinach Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. sliced bacon or less
    1 (10 oz.) box frozen chopped spinach
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
Preparation
    Dice bacon and fry until partly done; remove from pan.
    Cook spinach according to directions on package; drain thoroughly.
    To beaten egg, add 1 tablespoon bacon fat, milk, salt, spinach, bread crumbs and 1/2 of the cheese.
    Pour mixture into 1-quart baking pan.
    Cover with bacon and remaining cheese.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake for 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Serves 6.
