Tempura(Japan) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 pinch salt
    1 to 2-inch deep vegetable oil
    sliced vegetables (potato, onion, green pepper, carrot, yam, 1/4-inch thick or less)
Preparation
    At first drop egg into bowl then water, flour, baking powder and salt (all together).
    Mix until moist like a soft dough.
    Next slice vegetables; dip into dough.
    Then deep fry (until golden brown).
