German Apple Tort - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 baking apples, peeled, cored and diced
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat eggs until light yellow; gradually add sugar.
    Fold in flour and baking powder.
    Fold in apples and a cup of chopped nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream.
