Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 qt. popped corn (1/2 to 3/4 c. unpopped)
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick margarine
1/4 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except soda, in a glass dish. Microwave 2 minutes.
Stir.
Microwave 2 minutes.
Stir. Microwave 1 minute; add soda and stir.
Pour over popped corn in a brown paper bag.
Roll down bag and microwave in bag for 1 1/2 minutes.
Shake hard and microwave for 45 seconds.
Shake hard again to mix and pour out on foil or cookie sheet to cool.
(Do not double recipe.)
Makes 4 servings.
