Economical Lemon Icebox Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    vanilla wafers
    1 can condensed milk (I use Meadow Gold, usually the cheapest)
    1/2 c. reconstituted lemon juice (I get a qt. and keep refrigerated)
    1/2 or less small container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Line a pie plate with vanilla wafers, bottom and sides, then crush some wafers to make crumbs.
    Mix condensed milk and lemon juice.
    When it thickens, add Cool Whip which has been brought to room temperature.
    Mix well.
    Pour in pie crust and sprinkle vanilla wafer crumbs on top.
    Refrigerate.
