Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour, sifted
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Place sugar and butter over low heat until melted.
    Remove and cool slightly.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add other ingredients and pour into a lightly greased 7 x 11-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool and cut into bars.
